Meanwhile at the library…
I created my own set of tarot -ish cards to use for programs. A patron can get a “reading” which will lead them to a book rec. Each card coordinates with a few books. I made it all in Canva and laminated. I can’t wait to try it out!
Just picked up my book preorders from my friendly local indie bookstore. The convenience of Amazon ordering is only that. Convenience. Becoming a regular at a bookstore is wonderful. That personal connection and community. I’m so glad I took the leap.
I was going to do a midnight release party for Onyx Storm (Fourth Wing), but the books still haven’t shipped. Turns out that publishers are getting new releases out to big box stores on time while indie stores and libraries are late. I don’t like this.
