@cryptidshadows The Horizon games are amazing, I really would recommend them. Fantastic world building and visuals :)
@ShezHsky yeah that happened to me when I picked up some eggs in Tesco. Des accused me of buying American eggs
I think I'm done with arranging this shelf full of collectables and retro gaming consoles. This isn't all my collectables but it's a good home for all of the smaller ones which looked out of place elsewhere. Took a few photos so you can see all the things I've got there :)
@arakin yeah, that definitely feels like overkill for a single use

I'm really pleased with how the rebuilt Lego Horizon: Zero Dawn Tallneck that I completed today looks on my new shelving unit. It fits the space perfectly and looks fantastic!

It took forever to rebuild as I had to fully dismantle it for the house move and rebuild it from scratch rather than the individual bags you get to help with the build as you go. So I painstakingly used the "Knolling" process to make it easier to find the pieces. It took ages to set up but did make the build quicker. Sadly I was still missing one black 1x1 plate piece but a friend has one I can borrow

Those who know me will know that I'm a big fan of the Disney theme parks. So much so, that I made a Telegram Group chat to discuss them with like minded people. We've got close to 200 members but anyone's welcome to join if you're a fan of the parks or want to discuss plans, etc https://t.me/+rAT9TsDxwwo0ODVk

I've come to realise that unless I take action to do anything, nothing actually happens. Very rarely do I get invited to do things or can I find people to go and do stuff with. I suspect it's because most people my age have partners who they want to do stuff with. Living alone certainly has its drawbacks.

So to help mitigate the lack of me doing anything, I had a good day in Blackpool on my own on Sunday and next weekend (26th-28th), I'm heading down to London. I've no significant plans but the LondonFur meet is that weekend so I'll likely drop by there. Hopefully I'll bump into people I know there!

Be sure to listen to Pet Shop Boys' Casting a Shadow during the #eclipse as it was composed to be listened to during the 1999 eclipse observed from the UK. I happened to record the radio broadcast of that eclipse and I matched it to the relevant video for YouTube :) https://youtu.be/Xt3C5MM7Jkg?si=2VUEnvsyPObnqCsb

In just less than 3 weeks (26th), I'll be heading off to London for the weekend. It'll be my first time back in London since the pandemic and also my first time away from the house since moving.

I'm trying to see if there's anyone I know down that way who would like to catch up and have a meal or drink together. I also plan to attend the LondonFur meet so I can see folks there too. It'll depend a lot on who's there whether I'll stick around the meet or make my own entertainment elsewhere. I do miss my Southern friends so it'd be good to meet up if anyone happens to be around while I'm there!

It's happened. I've become that guy who has to tell off kids for trespassing on their land. After I got home, the same kids as before were playing nearby and twice lost their ball on my property. I had to go out and politely ask them to play elsewhere, and fortunately they did. No apologies though
