I hate using the term "laziness" because I have no idea what the budget was for this thing. It's Blizzard, so they certainly have enough money. But this feels like it was made on a shoestring budget judging by how little actual *animation* is going on. The voice-acting is fine, but nothing interesting is done with it. The talking head scenes get recycled throughout ALL three episodes, with no changes. Going for a "realistic" documentary look doesn't have to mean characters have 0 body language.

The thing that irritates me the most about western #anime is that studios seem to think the term just means "make things move as little as possible". There's cost-cutting (to save up for big scenes), and then there's just plain laziness.

#Overwatch Genesis is a prime example. Each episode is only about 5 minutes long and they don't even have a ton of action scenes that would swallow up the budget.

It's kind of funny to me that Meta decided to give its new platform a name that probably 85% of the non-English-speaking world has trouble pronouncing. It's going to be known internationally as Treads or Freds.

Finnish pet store chain Musti & Mirri ("Doggy & Kitty") commissioned an artist to create these Tom of Finland-inspired artworks for their Pride campaign. Some ads also show a temporary rebrand into "Kitty & Kitty" or "Doggy & Doggy". 🐶🐱🏳️‍🌈
