Being a first responder and then reading Facebook comments about incidents I was at is pretty wild. Completely incorrect statements stated confidently as facts. It explains a lot of society's problems.

It's kind of embarrassing, but I seem to have fallen for a romance scam. It's been going on for over 20 years now and she's even living in the house with me.

The amount of whitespace in modern UI design is out of control.
Tech has really changed my camping experience. This park we've been going to for over a decade has lake front pitches with no power, and generators are frowned upon as antisocial. Cellphone coverage used to be close to non-existent and data plans expensive. Now data is cheap and plentiful and our fridge and assorted electronics are easily powered by a LiFeP04 battery kept topped up with a couple of solar panels.
Nextdoor continues to deliver quality content I see.
