Annie has a new felt hut thingy. It's hard to get a photo that she doesn't disappear into the darkness.
I've been home all week, slowly recovering from surgery. Despite the pain, having a number of weeks of pajama-days to look forward to feels nice.
And I get to sit on the couch with my one-eyed Annie.
My daughter painted my one-eyed Annie in watercolor... my heart.
I missed #Caturday. Here's my 1-eyed Annie B., my pirate girl, my #housepanther.

Driving down through the US today, from Canada (Sarnia/Port Huron border crossing) to Nashville, tonight, and New Orleans tomorrow. Covid really aged us, and we are wondering if this will be our last long road trip. I wonder how my back will feel when I wake up tomorrow...hahaha.
Annie, dressed for the season...
Last night's tasting.
I don't always love Italian reds, they are sometimes too firm, and too medicinal/herbal for me. But this Barolo was pretty great. Soft, a little floral with vanilla and lush ripe cherries, mint, leather, and a hint of minerality.
