i like browsing r/ battlestations lately for inspo of how to arrange my own workspace but... the amount of fucking identical desks on there. the same ikea drawers, the same light panels, the same pegboard, the same mechanical keyboard, it's like... wow how daring
i also predict a lot of bad takes online when the WGA/DGA/SAG negotiations triple threat comes up and some hack posts clickbait headlines that creatives wanting fairer contracts is gonna get your shows canceled and make your netflix $30/month #television
my prediction for 2023 is that no fewer than 500 articles will be published throughout the year with a headline akin to: "The golden age of #streaming #TV is over" #television
mysteries are contrived by nature! mysteries are less about character development! mysteries are full of "useless" characters who are just extra suspects and guess what if you dont like the pace information was revealed that's actually the ENTIRE MECHANISM OF STORY in a mystery!! it is seriously not that deep and most if not all mystery stories fall apart if you hold them to the expectations of other more character-driven types of stories
