While I agree eating healthy and cutting down inflammation is extremely beneficial, your statement seems to be undermining and not contributing in a meaningful manner. I don’t think you are doing so in bad faith. I’m guessing you are trying to help but the way it comes off is not being well received because it’s general advice that isn’t pertinent to the observation OP is making. Again, I think your advice is solid in the general sense but the way it was stated may come off as condescending.
For example, when I was a college athlete I was extremely fit and eating healthy (and yeah, I felt great) but I had an allergic reaction on my epidermis and had to go on a steroid treatment.
Holy moly I felt like a god (just like OP is stating). I would regularly lift and exercise but when I was on the steroid treatment, it was another level of energy and strength.
This.
It infuriates me when people just stop on a side road or in a parking lot lane with no indicators.
On a side street (barely two lanes but street parking is allowed) I frequent, people will just slow down and come to a stop without any indicators. I stay behind them and eventually they will roll their window down and wave me by, but they could have just indicated they are pulling off but staying on the road with a blinker…
Just today I was waiting to reverse out of a parking spot and a person just stopped in the lane 10 ft away. I waited for a minute because I wasn’t sure what they were doing. They eventually got out and opened the boot of their vehicle and after another minute of that I eventually reversed and pulled away. They should have put on their hazards from the beginning… Very frustrating.
Maybe it’s a combination effort? I run pihole but I tell my friends (who aren’t ‘techy’) when best buy has a good deal. Having the 2 forms of suggestion (ads and word of mouth) may give them a boost.
One of those good deals is a 2-year controller coverage (+$10). If a controller gets stick drift (or any other damage including user-inflicted), you can exchange it at no cost if you paid the extra $10. I know stick drift and defects are typically covered under the manufacturer’s warranty but that can be a pain. I sent an elite series 2 controller in 5 times and it was never truly fixed.
With best buys paid extended coverage, I’ve turned in dualsense controller twice now (I’m on my third currently) for a total of $75 USD.
