I think having an authentic populist voice is more important than any race or gender considerations. We simply don’t have another candidate that can do this as credibly as AOC. I think if she runs, in the primary, she’ll handily beat out Newsom, Pritzker or any other white guys in the party who are in a position to run.

She’d face the exact same misogyny that Harris did, the difference though would be she’d have a strong enthusiastic volunteer base behind her. I think if the election is fair she’d have very good odds.

Seems to me it’s usually “kids” that don’t mind difficult games. I’m in my 40s and I don’t have the time or inclination anymore to replay a boss for hours on end, but when I was younger I loved a challenge like that and would usually set difficulty to hard.

This is the thing I’ve never understood. If we were truly concerned about undocumented workers taking jobs and resources, the logical solution would be to go after the companies employing them. But we’re not concerned with that. It’s always just a bad faith argument that boils down to plain old racism.
