@jamesdarkglint It depends. If there are long enough claws there'll definitely be a click. If the paw has long fur then there could be a soft whoosh against the floor, if not then a scrape of pad getting a firm purchase against the slick floor. A lizard would probably make a louder scrape, or might be totally silent as it creeps up on you.
