So, here’s the update on the review request:
I violated a rule and won’t be allowed back on until I delete the tweet, but they did not cite the specific rule I allegedly broke.
Yep, I’m done there. I’ll delete the tweet, write up what I think of all this, yell at Abbott to go sit on a cactus a few more times, say some permanent goodbyes to a few people who won’t leave who are the ONLY reason I’ve stuck around for the last month, and delete the app.
Here’s something real dumb. I got booted off Twitter for 12 hours for telling a man, who trafficked three busloads of asylum-seeking refugees from Texas to the VP’s house on Christmas Eve in 18°F weather without telling anyone they were coming, to go sit on a cactus after he posted his customary message of good Christian holiday wishes, which stank especially of fresh hypocrisy this year.

OK, as far as I can tell, this guy is legitimately who he says he is and was at the World Cup with these folks today, though if he's reporting the conversation accurately, who can say.
