Basically, by removing birthright citizenship, everyone who is born in the US may find it difficult to prove they’re American Citizens. Although we know who will actually get stopped and asked for those docs, the non-white people.

I don’t find fascists specifically intellegent species. I don’t pitty them either. But this instances of submitting to fascist ideologies with this much optimism/naiveté is just sad:

The Trump admin has cancelled the panels that approve NIH grants, and is also banning scientists from communicating with the public, attending conferences, and hiring.
The NIH is the largest public funder of biomedical research in the world. This will severely halt the development of many lifesaving treatments. Absolutely devastating.
