MonitorLizard is great. Makes it so much easier to keep track of PRs and CI status every day.

I've updated MonitorLizard, my tool for keeping an eye on GitHub Pull Requests. The new release fixes a freeze during scrolling, adds notarization and Sparkle updates so that you no longer have to mess with downloading the source to use it.

Oh, interesting! The offhanded idea that I had a while back about replacing resumes with RPG-style character sheets is (at least partially) realized in Wasteland, Steve Yegge's latest project for coordinating large-scale development work: https://steve-yegge.medium.com/welcome-to-the-wasteland-a-thousand-gas-towns-a5eb9bc8dc1f

I haven't mentioned this here yet, but last month I decided to walk away from Seasonality after working on the apps for more than 2 decades.

The problem was, the primary data source from Seasonality Pro was going offline a month after I made the decision to walk away.

Here's the story about how Claude Code saved the day and allowed me to replace an entire data layer in 8 days instead of 8 weeks.

Oh no... What have we done...

Have had Erasure's "Respect" stuck in my head for five days now.

Send help.

Today I'm soft-launching LiveGig, a web-based tool to help live musicians handle requests. I've spent a good spell using it myself and incorporating input from my test users. I'm delighted to finally be opening the doors to any bands or individual musicians who want to try it out.

It's free to start with some generous usage limits, so try it out or share it with your favorite band! https://www.livegig.app
