It's my birthday today. As a present for myself, I got the flu shot and the latest covid shot.
Arms are a bit sore, but I also bought myself some LEGO so we'll call it even.

Get your 3D glasses out!

Last week, Brian May had a guest blog post on the OSIRIS-REx mission page, talking about the sample the team found sitting on top of the sample collection cannister (even before they opened it).

It included a stereo anaglyph, but since I can never get those to work for me, I used GIMP to turn them into a red-blue anaglyph, so I could use my 3d glasses. Check it out!

My wife picked up some cool Tokyo Disney memorabilia from Japan recently. On the left is one of the cars from the Journey to the Center of the Earth ride. On the right are two Doom Buggies from the Haunted Mansion.
As I figured out the various improvements to Perseverance, I applied several of them to my official #CuriosityRover set... like the new head and mast, MMRTG, deck details, and rocker-bogie system.

Made a bunch of improvements to my NASA Perseverance and Ingenuity LEGO model over the past week.
Completely rebuilt front of the rover to make it more sturdy. New mast. New hazcams. Updated sample caching system. Updated rocker-bogie system. Also added the Descent Camera (2nd pic, front left of rover).
