Separate community for the more technical side?
Would it be of use to have a separate community to discuss the more nuanced side of the sport’s technical regulations, lest those who find that less accessible not get lost when the subject comes up? I’d be happy to get that spun up, and post my dives into different parts of the regs every other week or whatever.

Rinks/leagues in the NYC area
If anyone knows of any leagues in and around NYC, particularly in Queens/Bklyn, I’d really appreciate it, as I’ll soon be moving up to the area. I may or may not have a car, so if there are any leagues in western LI, suggestions thereabouts would also be appreciated.

[Mercogliano] I've had a few people ask about this. Fact is, because the NYR have traded 19 total picks since Drury took over in 2021, they don't have much ammo to move up.
Per Mercogliano, apparently the Rangers are looking to trade down from 23. Thing is, will 23 have to be packaged with the Goodrow contract to clear out space for guys like Chytil to get pay raises? Drury’s going to have some real work on his hands this summer trying to build a competitive roster in the last two year’s of Igor’s deal, and if he doesn’t, I think we might be seeing 31 in another sweater come the 2025-26 season.
