I was looking through the megathread and saw this real-debrid thing. I have heard this name some times so I read what it does but wasn’t able to understand it. If someone could explain it to me I would appreciate it. Also, it caught my attention that “it’s a good way to prevent your IP from ever hitting the torrent’s swarm, which is the main cause of receiving copyright infringement letters”. Does this mean it’s an alternative to a VPN when torrenting? Is it like a seedboxes or something?

I’ve installed a bunch of mods and at first they looked to work just fine. I had to remove some mods because of an error but anything new. But the strange part is this one: I removed all the mods that were causing problems and ran the game a few times and it worked just fine. But now i’m running the game again and I have ran into the same error as before. And now i’m beggining to think that it is not a problem of some mods. But I dont know what is causing it. Please help. So, a few weeks or months ago, I can’t remember. I heard that a virus was discovered in some mods like betterminecraft at platforms like curseforge. I rember watching some videos on YouTube of youtubers like PhoenixSC. And I said to myself “well, then I’ll just wait until this is solved”. And this morning I wanted to install some mods but remembered this virus thing. Is this already solved? Can we download mods once again?

I was looking through the megathread when I thought of something. I think it would be nice to add a section for other languages. I am Spanish, and I don’t really mind watching content in English, I feel really comfortable when it comes to this language. But my family is not like me, they often ask me to pirate movies in Spanish, and I feel insecure if I’m searching webs that are not in the megathread. If people could make suggestions here and if a mod could consider this suggestion and add a section like this to the megathread, I think it could definitely help a lot of people. Right now, the only suggestion I can make is a web called todotorrents.org [http://todotorrents.org], which is a web to download movies and media in spanish. As for now, it hasn’t given me any problems and it works pretty well.

Hey everyone! One of my main issues with piracy in general are VPNs, because I absolutely HATE subscription services. As far as i’m concerned, we need VPNs so that when torrenting, people cant see our IP adress and other information that can be potentially used againt us. I’ve heard that there’s people who log those IP adresses so that they can like “report” people doing piracy or sth like that. Correct me if i’m wrong. So, with this purpose in mind, I understand that VPN services are useful because they can help hide our real information. But as I said, I dont like subscription services and I saw that there’s the option to selfhost a VPN. But I thought a bit about it, and, if I’m using a selfhosted VPN using, for example, a raspberry pi or a laptop, isn’t the imformation of that laptop ALSO potentially dangerous? Because it is connected to your own ISP and it has the same location as you have (if you set it up at yout home). I know this may sound dumb, but I don’t know much about this. And I can’t find information about this.
