There is a petition in Luxembourg to run the historic trams on the new tracks during the summer.
While it would be quite cool... there are a lot of issues with this.
Mainly that the old trams were 1000 mm... not like the current 1435 mm trams...

so, the creator of the petition either:
a) Wants new trams to be created that look like the old ones, but run on standard gauge
b) expects part/all of the network to be rebuilt in dual-gauge
c) did absolutely no research and just though it sounded kinda cool.
