I haven’t seen a seen a single home screen Roku ad since I installed Pi-Hole.
This will be my last Roku, it has become such a horrible ad-ridden experience since I first got it years ago.

I decided awhile ago to never get another Samsung phone, at least they keep making it an easy decision to keep.
Just buy the current one, I bought one right when they first came out and it’s still great!
The project it looks based on is Meshtastic, the nodes are pretty cheap, you can even find them on Amazon if your truly desperate.
We had one on our TV the other day. This will absolutely be our last Roku.
In the meantime I immediately installed PiHole, to block all their ads.
Have any more info on that last one? I hadn’t heard that one before

Based on the text layout of her ID card I’m guessing it was made in MS Word.
They are supposed to be paid the difference if tips plus base pay don’t add up to minimum wage. But I’m guessing a lot of places don’t do it.
