Once you put on the 'secret decoder ring' and understand that in the christian universe "god is love", then you begin to understand that to "love one's neighbor" is to "god one's neighbor."

"Love" to them is not an emotion, it's a tactic, and is purely mechanistic.

What's “Love” Got to Do with Putin's Policy Agenda?

Those are some really basic starting points, but it seems that's necessary at this point.

Conclusion to my 10 things-

Try to view yourself as part of a long 'front' in which people come together to resist, sometimes on very short notice, without having to agree on everything tactically, or ideologically, because you simply won't, you don't have the luxury of time for that. For some, those responses may be in person, if so, mask the fuck up. For others, it's going to be other forms of support. Make room for both.

9. Start getting a handle on where your money supports the bad guys and work to find local good folx supportive alternatives wherever possible. It's not going to be perfect. Do what you can.

10. Map locally who your 'good folx' are, listen to what they themselves say they need. Work to build connections, strength, and ability to respond quickly.

6. Become a member/owner at your local food co-op (https://grocerystory.coop/food-co-op-directory) and start making connections within your foodshed.

7. Support your local library and bookstores (https://www.indiebound.org/)
and find community there

8. Support some form of local media that is covering local stories and doing investigative journalism beyond the wretched spin of utter junk like Sinclair. (https://www.thebaltimorebanner.com/)

"Stories about Vance tend to focus on his hardscrabble Ohio roots, but his relationship with Thiel—and his stint in San Francisco—are key to understanding his politics. Vance owes his meteoric rise to Thiel, who largely bankrolled it."
