For the performance, Sensing Dark Matter by creator Su WenChi, we are looking for VR Production Assistant volunteers 👀 will you join our volunteer team?

Are you hospitable, curious, and up for a unique experience? As a VR Production Assistant, you will welcome, inform, and guide visitors during the VR experience by artist Su WenChi at BAK. You’ll help visitors put on and take off the VR headsets and ensure that everyone can enjoy the experience safely and with ease.

No prior experience is required, clear instructions and guidance will be provided in advance. What we do ask: that you’re available for one or more full days.

The shifts are:
4:00 PM – 10:00 PM on May 27, 28, and 29
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM on May 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31

Below we give you some tips and in the coming period we will guide you through our program via our newsletter and socials. Check out the schedule on our website or download the TMSQR app and get informed.

There are several options:
🎟Buy a passe-partout
For €150 (students and and U-pas holders €120) you can see everything SPRING offers. Over 30 different performances and installations, spread over 10 days. You just try everything that seems interesting to you!

🎫Buy a day pass (for Fridays and weekend days), and immerse yourself completely in SPRING on that day. Success guaranteed!

🎟Choose a ticket for the performance you want to see.

Finding it hard to choose?
On the program page at the top, choose by theme, genre, or location.

Be surprised and choose something at the time that suits your schedule. All of SPRING's performances are programmed with vision within the overarching theme: Overheard/Overseen. You are visiting something you don't see anywhere else!

Proud to announce that SPRING is part of Gap Exchange, and Amparo González Sola is one of the artists participating in the exchange program.

What is Gap Exchange?
Gap Exchange is a platform for contemporary theatre artists to share their practices, learn from international peers, and build a global network. It is informal, egalitarian, and focused on hospitality and thoughtful exchange. Four artists from the island of Ireland will meet five international artists—two from Belgium, one from England, one from the Netherlands, and one from the USA. Each artist will spend a week hosting in their own country and a week visiting another artist in their home country.

Gap Exchange is being run by Creative Facilitator Lian Bell and Irish Theatre Institute (ITI) @irish_theatre_institute and funded through the @artscouncilireland International Residencies Initiative Scheme, with contributions from the international partners: @springutrecht (Utrecht, Netherlands), @viernulvier.gent (Ghent, Belgium), @the_bluecoat (Liverpool, England), and @irishclassical (Buffalo, USA). With support from @watergatetheatre (Kilkenny) and @droichead.arts.centre (Drogheda).
