Most non military civilians in this country have not had to make a sacrifice for the greater good in the last 30 years. They have enjoyed the privilege of rights won long ago by others. So faced with having to stand up, they are paralyzed by fear. (not MAGA)

Entitlement does not breed courage, values or integrity. However, the juggernaut of activism is awakening, and through these challenges we might just become stronger.

@Strandjunker It was indeed us that handed over our manufacturing advantage. Sold off as "Globalization", by the very wealthy, (and soon to become wealthier).

I feel however that by giving that capacity away we really helped the standard of living in a lot of developing and developed nations. It was never the intent of those greedy bastards, but it is a nice unintended consequence.

We have done this in collusion with other "World Powers". (Sorry it has been a team effort). So now the free world is morally indignant because he has embraced the monstrosity that we have quietly benefited from?

This is disingenuous.

Our corruption and cruetly predates Trump by centuries. And as long as we have someone to blame and fail to take responsibility for ourselves, things like him will continue to happen.

The good news here? We are running out of places to hide.

I think this must be said also:
Sure, there is much to be righteously indignant about Trump. But here is the thing, he has shed light on the most corrupt government currently in existence.

We as Americans have co-signed the deaths of countless innocent people, this has been done with bullets, chemicals, indifference and greed. We have destroyed ecosystems, governments and unleased destruction and torture that is indescribable.
