Beware the coffee pot!

(I used a tea cup to try to capture (and release) the wasp but failed, only then did I spot a tiny spider in the teacup. Stuff is going wild around here!)

In other not frustrating news, I made bread today and turned half the dough into garlic butter coated bread sticks for the 10yo. No photo of them cause they've been inhaled already. He rates then an eight out of ten cause they're a little too crusty (French bread dough base) he is happy to hear that I will keep trying and maybe use a recipe intended for breadsticks in the future.

It's alive! I could literally watch the bubbles breathe as I moved the bowl of dough in preparation for punching down. So much joy in the act of fermentation for me.

Running on less than 3 hours sleep cause the 9yo didn't want spring break to end. Gotta get a vehicle in for service so it will pass inspection/registration renewal. A quick big box store run, and maybe a nap, depending on timings. So glad Spring Break is over! #showmeyourmugmonday

Cinnamon rolls are done. I think I blundered in their construction, slicing too thin and spacing far apart. But I can't blame the recipe, perhaps just execution. Certainly not the thin-walled Cinnamon roll that you get at the mall, though. Still delicious, however.

This will definitely need lots of testing!

Also, cream cheese frosting is a little TOO easy for my liking... YUM!!!!

The weather has been chilly, but it looks like we will be in the 80s later this week. My thoughts turn to summer vegetables, and I contemplate a garden. Some homegrown tomatoes sound fantastic. Do you have any garden plans?
