Searching for Inspirations | The Balance of Terror - Star Trek: Website

I’m searching for inspiration for something I’m not sure, but I keep revolving my head around the TOS episode “The Balance of Terror” for it. Arguably one of the greatest episodes of the ST franchise, something about a reenactment between a destroyer and a submarine (The Enemy Bellow). But I want to dig a little deeper about what can we learn from the episode and I can’t really find a good analysis video of it. What do you guys think can be learned or digested from the episode?
