@anathema_device yes, the Craig Bond films exhibit what a nicely tailored slim fit looks like. I suspect we're on the verge of the slim-fit, no-break suit being replaced by something else as the hottest style. I doubt we'll go back to the truly baggy fits of the 90s, but probably not so tight a fit as today.
@anathema_device Just that the fit is lousy. It hangs off of him, the fabric drapes and pools everywhere. And this still is one of the less egregious fits from The Player. Jeremy Piven's suit as he's leading the lot tour was laughable; looked like a child in his Dad's suit.
Was watching some great 90s films—the Player, Swimming with Sharks, and Short Cuts—and was struck by how the fits of men's suits in the 90s were complete dogshit, without exception.
