Although the “chase” article does not implicate official law enforcement entities, it struck me that in many circumstances, it is the official law enforcement organization that is responsible for the deaths of many (a la BLM & other protesters of various causes).

My thanks to the South Florida Wildlife Center for bringing back an opossum that had gotten stuck in my washing machine. I met Nick years ago when I volunteered there, and I’m happy to report he and his wife (who he met there) have two kids! The sassy opossum is now free again in my neighborhood, although all the sneaky places he got in to my house, have been sealed up. 😜. Please support your local wildlife rescue centers.
Someone started a whole “gnome sighting” thread on Nextdoor and I’m here for it. Finally, something of substance….although many of the comments are leaving me wondering about the sanity of my neighbors. 🤣
