There are days like today where I wake up and pinch myself.
I sit in front of a microphone and talk about about tech to tens of thousands of people on weekdays.
Then, sometimes on the weekends, I get on stages and talk about podcasting, content creation, and entrepreneurship.
I love what I do.
So, like,
Substack is a whole social media platform now.
I've been saying that it's becoming more and more like a social media platform for a while, but, I think the transformation is complete.
At least in my mind it is...
I just checked it like I would Threads or Bluesky.
I want to let everyone know that Rod Simmons, Chris Ashley, and I, after a 5 month or so hiatus, recorded an episode of SMRpodcast.
At least a dozen people at CES told me they were fans of the show and hoped we would get back to regular episodes soon.
We recorded one today that should be out soon.
So,

When you think of Substack do you think of it as a newsletter host, or a social media platform?
I've been saying for well over a year that it is morphing into a social media platform.
I think maybe the conversion is complete.
