@Shibangidas @Saikatd Is the school's goal to ensure maximum participation or to win things ? In the external competitions, i would rather send my best people everytime. However I can always limit a certain group from participation in internal competitions.

So my son's best friend from our society (2 yrs his elder), has gone to a boarding school today. We had a sorta farewell yesterday ... The 2 saddest people there seemed to be my son and me. Others were so so normal. I am still unable to shake off that uneasiness.

@ParadoxicalPari Has its own set of superstitions and rituals. "Right" clothes. A feeling of kinship with others following my religion. Heck ... It even has its caste system. Those who go regularly to watch matches in person vs us who are "farther" from the place of worship. Has its set of angels and demons.
