Sabertooth has a new drummer! I know this means absolutely nothing to anyone but I am so thrilled the band can get back on the road again, I've missed the 80s sleaze in my corporate life!

A substack worth following from a good friend and in this article he covers why we are moving towards boring politics in the UK in 2024 and an end to the culture war, it even mentions my big addiction Traitors uk as I adore anything that explores the human psyche and mob mentality its definitely worth a read!
Oh no! Another genius from the comic world has gone. John M Burns to me was one of the greatest comic illustrators of our time. As well as being so respected for his superb 2000AD art work I absolutely loved his work on Wuthering Heights and the fabulous graphic novels The seekers and a personal favourite the gripping noir novel Bendatti Vendetta with Robbie Morrison - John retired in October last year but its so sad to know he like so many other comic greats has left us.
I woke up hangover free so opened the front door and back door to let the old year out and welcome in the new (my nanna did this anyone else?) Then I went on a 5 mile walk in the woods at 9am with Stevie my staffy got back home took down the Christmas decorations and cleaned the house - yes I am mad but I do this every new years day. She's missing the 🎄 Happy New Year all.
Full of curry, cosy listening to the wind whistling in the chimney and fireworks in the distance, knackered and on the bordeaux so probably won't see midnight! My wish for 2024 is the Tories finally fuck off. Iechyd da pawb blwydden Newydd dda x
