Gosh the absolute state of political candidates these days.

They better have maxed out their stamina.

More DAB boards on the way!

What does that mean? More multiplexes, more stations, more fun! :D

Added in programme associated data (PAD) which allows the broadcast of station logos and album art as well as scrolling text (DLS).

Okay...I probably need to put something actually useful for the DLS text. xDD

I must say I quite like these colorful BBC station logos.

Kinda nuts to be picking up both DAB and HDRadio from the same SDR receiving station xD
Here’s the transmission setup! :3

Guess who has two thumbs and his own personal DAB transmitter here in the USA?

This moi!

EasyDAB finally fixed, turns out there were bad solder joints on the main SRAM!

Well, the EasyDAB not being so easy continues. I swapped my quartz oscillator for a temperature controlled one, as they are far more accurate for the sensitive timings of DAB signal generation.

And while frequency correction is now much reduced, the signal quality is still a bit crap. :/

I could -really- use some help. ;w; Any broadcast engineers out there, or folks familiar with the EasyDABv2?

Boosts appreciated! #Radio #Broadcasting #DAB

Part of my busyness the last 2 months has been my OpenDigitalRadio project. It’s nearly done, I’ve been busy understanding, building and documenting digital radio transmission, and it’s been quite the journey.

Anyone got one of these puppies laying around? :o

They look like the Courier 56k V.Everything modem but this is specifically an ISDN modem.
