Today is the fifth anniversary of the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

It is yet another morning in our country after a mass shooting, this time at Michigan State University.

North Carolina’s seven House Democrats have now voted six times each for Hakeem Jeffries to be the next Speaker of the House.

Along with the 205 other members of the House Democrats, we are united.

President Zelenskyy was compelling in his speech.

He was extremely appreciative for support and resources from the US and emphasized the money we sent was about saving democracy.

We know attacks on the #LGBTQ community open the door to accepting hate. We know when adults use public forums to blame drag queens and bully trans kids, they condone rhetoric that has violent ends.
