Accidentally told a friend to fet a b550 motherboard instead of a b450, same price and technically it should be better than the b-450. Only issue is that there's no official support for first gen ryzen on b550.
As it turns out my begrudging recommendation of an asus motherboard may have saved my ass.
Unsure what other brands may do this but at least some of Asus's b550 motherboards have support for first gen ryzen, not official but they boot and run well enough.
Blu ray scratches are proof that not including CDs in their own caddy was a mistake.
CDs and DVDs seem to have enough error correction to handle it but blu rays apparently not. Maybe it's make mkv, unfortunately vlc doesn't see the episodes on tbe blu ray fir some reason so I can't tell
