@jaelisp It’s more complicated than this, I think. On one hand, it costs a morbillion dollars just to run ChatGPT and there’s very little profits to be made right now outside of investments. Also, it’s obviously violated copyright law, anti-trust law, and is actively dangerous to American society. On the other hand, we’ve still just scraped it’s potential so far…

@JHein It’s funny, isn’t it? A solid 95% of pictures you can just tell aren’t made my an AI within the first two and a half secondsThey just look complete, and finished. AI and photoshop could be an extremely deadly combo someday. But what really draws me into this art is that it does have that vivid feel to it that AI oftentimes does after Frankensteining a thousand different stolen assets together… But it’s so clearly done. It’s so beautiful…
