In a magical world
There's a magic cafe
With a tiny green dragon
Who makes crème brûlée

The waiter comes over
Familiar on arm.
With a wink of his eye
He turns on the charm.

"Fair Dragon", says he,
"Some heat, please." And then
With a nod to his patron
"Just tell her when".

With a click and a yawn
And a wee dragon roar
Her jaw stretches wide
And flames start to pour.

Oh, the toppings did crumble!
The chocolate did melt!
The sugar did caramelize
Like raw iron smelt!

"When." says the patron,
"That's perfect" says she.
And she claps both her hands
In excitement and glee.

And then, from her pocket
She draws with a grin
A single gold sixpence.
"A tip for your friend."

With a squawk and a rumble
More purr than a growl,
She plucks up the coin
Twixt her jaws oh most foul

Her job now complete,
She returns to her nest
And adds her new treasure
To the pile with the rest.

She curls up in a ball
And lays down for a nap
'Top her glittering hoard
Of three quid and a half.
