I’m tryin real hard to push myself stylistically so I can like my draws again

I’ve made two books, one large and one small. I feel like I’m getting better at it; the binding on the graph paper one is definitely the prettiest so far

I made a few of these a while back; one of them went to the front of the sketchbook I made for beckett and these two are going to Aaronn, which is why I can’t post them to twitter... he doesn’t know yet

The other protagonist is uhh.... my type. So it’s easier.

So, recently I finished writing out Shine, the comic story I’ve had rattling around in my brain for like five years, and now that it’s safely on paper I feel more confident that I can just work on my art skills without the danger of losing track of it. The danger is that I don’t care much for cis men, and Ishmael is meant to be handsome? So I just picked three actors & went from there. Pls, is my boy cute
