Been a busy weekend, lots of cooking. Yesterday was chicken broth and pesto. Today was salsa, blackberry muffins and cobbler.
Also, grapes are turning, harvest is only a few weeks away!
I need a weekend to rest from the weekend....
And my first attempt at wild blackberry jam. I think UK folks call them bramble berries?
Came out really good, definitely doing this again. :)
This tree has (sadly) been dead for years, finally got around to taking it down. Naturally it refused to fall the direction I intended. But at least it's one less thing to worry about!
Now... time to make blackberry jam.
The wine for 2022 is bottled and labeled! Now to let it sit and settle for a bit.
