This year I am thankful that I am a member of a party that stands for truth, even when that truth is politically inconvenient.

I’m thankful that I’m not a member of a party that has gerrymandered its way into power.

I’m thankful to not be a part of a group that feeds off of hatred and anger towards anyone who has different beliefs than them.

I’m thankful to have surrounded myself with people who believe diversity of thought, belief, opinion, and lifestyle makes us all better and stronger.
