@awarham @deviantollam there's one church near me that on their front board boldly proclaims that they ACTUALLY accept everyone, queer, homeless, etc, like actually naming all these groups, its really cool, and while Im still not associating with any pre-existing religion, its nice to see a church actually stand up for whats right
@hacks4pancakes personally Im leaving it anyways, two breaches in a row kills any trust in their technology actually being solid, but Im just moving to another option for a password manager

This would be a really really good time to support the admins of the Mastodon server you're on.

Find their support links, chuck them at least the price of a coffee each month.

Putting my money where my mouth is.

@TechConnectify I think its a mix, its still small comapred to twitter now, but its also growing too, but it doesnt help that cohost and such are also taking away users, just like after tumblr everyone is getting scattered around so finding everyone is quite hard
@eljefedsecurit that looks really solid, thank you! Im hoping I can get the hang of this soon and start designing some fun projects
@malwaretech Im personally like, if anyone newly joins Id be suspicious, but a lot of us from there started before twitter was unquestionably supporting fash, it was more like just the mods making very questionable decisions, but everyone still had their corner of twitter that's unrelated to the ideals of the people running the site, personally Im phasing it out but I know too many people there to ditch it, Im still at 30 people Im following which only seems to include some larger infosec and kolectiva accounts, only like one artist has moved over
Im thinking about learning circuit board design, anyone know a source with good info for hobby product design, my current end goal is custom boards for a portable wii, but I feel like if I go with my current knowledge Im gonna forget some important protection feature or use some components I could safely skip to not waste money and time on each iteration, I do already know some of the basics of electricity just looking for a good reference since all my experience is from random hobby projects that already have the hard part down and from very basic classes on the basics of electronics before going down the cyber security route (or before it never gets covered again since I also learned it in elementary, middle, and high school, closest I got to further in hardware design was "intro to robotics" which didnt let us design circuits, just software)
@MrsMouse @unregistered436 @ocl its a smart lock, I could probably find one in an hour, those are notoriously built like electronics rather than security devices
@2AQueer @deviantollam exactly, the laws exist, but the ones we need enforced aren't being enforced and thats letting situations like this happen at an alarming rate
@deviantollam I knew about bombs and threats having been involved, but like, that's not only worthy of a red flag, thats just straight up criminal charges should have been filed, yikes. And people wonder why I have guns
