Yandex isn't Google, but there is a lot SEOs can learn about how a modern search engine is built from reviewing this codebase.

I’m still shocked at how many seos regularly disavow links. Why? Unless you spammed them or have a manual action you’re probably doing more harm than good.

Found some yandex ML models and was able to load them up in python on my machine. Not ready to share yet but they literally have one that predicts how likely you are to do an adult search based on your demographic info. (No proof they’re using it though)
This linear model is a great way to envision a "core" update. Imagine a core update slightly changed all these decimal values. Rankings would change, but they couldn't tell you exactly what to do to "recover"

So I looked at the yandex webmaster help section on their website, and everything they say can be found in the code. They’re not lying about how rank when they write about it. Obviously they’re vague though.
