@johnlorimer I got it on second attempt last week and pretty sure I was all about sharing that
@joelfromaus I'm still feeling a bit nervous about touching <anything> after causing a P1 outage for a client last week.
Especially annoyed as I was trying to do some prep so that Best Practice could be followed later. But I downed a critical system.
@Tarale @mintie ty. i was more fragile a few years back and that kind of thing would have badly affected me. these days i am better-equipped to do positive things
As I think @mikelynch once said, if you can't understand the appeal of the prologue of Hot August Night turning into Crunchy Granola Suite, maybe music isn't for you
Going to go change a setting on my Wi-Fi point. I will know whether it's failed by the screams of anguish from the other rooms.
@Tarale @mintie It was only recently I had someone repeatedly personally attack me on Reddit. Never encountered that before in the subreddits I frequent. Was bizarre. Like nastiness had entered my little comfy place. First use of the block function there too. After many years.
Melbourne zoo is all well one of the tapirs got out and everyone’s like nobody cares Mel just drink your coffee.
@mintie @Tarale My psych suggested I needed to do some things and part of that is try to be, not sure what the word is, resilient - not get overly affected or angered by what others say. And similarly not be backward in being forward myself. And I like to think I give everyone's opinion a fair go. For that reason it's incredibly rare I block/mute/ignore someone on a platform. But it's self-care to stay out of the way of someone's hate-beam.
I had to do my first fedi-block today and that saddens me a little
@marcorizzi hi there
