So the cat turned our new Christmas tree with four feet... into one with three. Never mind that four feet clearly wasn't stable enough to overcome the Power of Kitten in the first place. So, one tub and some weight plates later, and it's now a Christmas tree with a 50kg base (and some baubles still to replace, I know). Stay tuned, as I expect we'll shortly see the cat up the top of the tree instead of that angel (hey at least they are both white?)

I just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why my watch wouldn't charge. I tried plugging the charger into several ports and sitting the watch in different angles, Googling to see if there was a known issue....
In completely unrelated news, did you know that the USB end of the charging cable for my watch and the one for my phone look identical...

Is it a Mastodon thing, or a my server thing, or a my settings thing, that when I look at someone's profile on a different server, it shows no posts but says "Older posts from other servers are not displayed" with a link to "Browse more on the original profile". Define "older"? Because the last post which was not displayed was 45 minutes ago...
