They knew this was more than likely coming 3 years ago. There was a rush to buy the Venezuelan Bolivar Digitalis for when their shitshow of an economy turned around due to military force. Took longer than I expected but here we are.

There’s a documentary out there about this whole subject and it does indeed come down to exactly this.

Companies/design firms may not like the price that Pantone charges but they also say it’s absolutely worth it to know what color you will get in print.

Because humans are inherently selfish.
Unless you’re immunocompromised it doesn’t make a difference. “Unhealthy” bacteria is literally everywhere. You have an immune system for a reason.
Make sure you work the valves on toilets, showers, tubs, and faucets as well. They will dry out if you don’t and then you’ll get leaks.
I’m going to be either sitting at a restaurant not getting paid or cooking in my kitchen not getting paid. Either way it’s always cheaper to not spend money in the restaurant. My labor is moot.
You’re missing the point.
Labor will be the highest cost. It almost always is in business. But yeah, point made.
Yep. Labor costs something it cannot be cheaper. Wild that anyone claims so. Just a complete lack of understanding, but that’s the times we’re in.
The worst ratio I’ve had when making the same thing I could buy at a restaurant was 2x as cheap. Usually it’s at least 5x - 10x cheaper for us to stay home and cook the same thing ourselves. US based.
