@gamingonlinux Hello Liam, i just discovered a hardware bug and how to fix it with the Steamdeck and the Mayflash F500 Flat leverless controler.

The SOCD doesn't work as intended when connecting the mayflash to the SD (using the official dock, something i didn't mentioned anywhere now that i think about it)

I made a post about it on steamdeckHQ with more detail but in case you missed it and you're interested in that story, here is the link

@crk5 We're just in the first minutes of an apocalypse horror flick. A very bad one at that.

@killyourfm

Still, adding a 100h cap limit per month feels iffy. Especially the part when they admit it impact only 6% of gamers. If you're part of it one month, let say, the month a big title you waited for for years release, it sucks. And increasing cost for additional hours is what, 90's internet tactics ?

It also introduce fomo of "not using your time" when paying for it too. I saw the announcement for the app coming to the steamdeck, then that and immediatly all the hype died down.

@gamingonlinux Sorry, this is a next gen paying feature.

... this is a joke but now that i've wrote it, i understand it also fall in the horror story genre.

@killyourfm Gog, we need a stronger gog and absolutely no Epic anywhere close to the market.

The bigger my steam library grow, the more i wish half of it was available on gog and more than a decade on steam hadn't pigeon-holed me for good there.

One idiot that can't read nor do simple addition misunderstand pricing catastrophicaly and we get one of the few great guy of the community with a whole cancel culture witch hunt on his back over all the #steamdeck subreddits.

Humanity is just full of imbecile that just want to see the world burn over false righteous outrage about nothingburgers.

@necrophcodr

To be fair i can never remember which one is RB/RT 'cause english ain't my native tongue. A compass is universal, thus easier to visualise without having to think about which button is where.
A think many beginner player have a hard time because those button layout are the most arbitrary thing there is, just beyon weight and distance unit in the UK & US

@necrophcodr Ever tried to tell a konami code to a playstation player when you're mainly an xbox player ?
Or going back and forth between your switch and your PC, with some game switching xbox &playstation for no reason in the UI ?

It's just a naming convention idea, same as the num pad are used in fighting game for fireball (236), dragon punch (623, 421) ,charge motion (46, 19, 28), etc...

So, i kinda made a thing: The compass button layout.

I have no clue if someone had the idea before. But if only gaming could have adopted that convention, it would make it way simpler when playing a cross-platform game on PC.
Or just when talking to people about it and helping them with some tips and tricks.

Just saw this article about a potential, somewhat credible claim that Trump indeed, cheated and lost the election. With Musk playing a critical role through the 1M$ loterry for votes.

On the day Russia launched a dummy ICBM on Ukraine.

Seriously americans, please take the street and demand accountability before your country get taken over by Russia.
