Gotcha day +15 for Willow!
Willow got a new 'toy'
So poor Willow had to go to the vet for a nail trim as she seems to have gotten lazy in her old age. Largely ignored any scratching posts as she preferred the fence/raised borders outside but is now scared of outside too! (Me too Willow 🤣) Got her a new scratching post and on the 3rd day (and much catnip spray) we have a scratching session! Hopefully we can keep her using it and save on the vet bills! What's going wrong with my prints?
Hey, Still fairly new to this hobby and have lots of ideas but I’ve got a snag with a few prints now and was hoping someone could help me work out what I’m doing wrong. The project is small trays for a custom advent calendar but as you can see the corner on the second picture has lifted massively. A 3d printed tray in grey with a handle. [https://lemmy.world/pictrs/image/4d130a33-17cf-46d0-a49c-cd2c484c2245.jpeg] This has happened before with a different print too and I never solved that issue either. Using an Ender 3 Pro with some generic filament from amazon, hot end at 200C (goes stringy any higher), bed was 50C for this print I think. Any help would be wonderful :)
Happy Gotcha Day!

Balancing a boss fight for an Eloquence Bard!
Hey, I’m running Call of the Netherdeep for a party and have some potential final boss cheesing I need help with. Members of The Inevitable should leave now! I have been looking at the final boss fight and it tries to have the players talk the boss down for damage/debuffs and finally surrender in different phases. These are set at increasing DC’s of 15/17/19 for the 3 stages. The tricky part is I have an Eloquence Bard in the party and at level 8 his minimum floor for a persuasion roll is 22 😬 How do I play this or alter this to make it more challenging? Obvious strategy would be to attack/silence the bard after hearing their silver tongue the first time. I could just up the DC’s but that feels like I’m diminishing the player choices and restricting other players from joining in the efforts? Ideas/thoughts welcome! One possible solution would be to have the boss require each player to pass a persuasion check at some time? Individual party member bonuses for Persausion are: 0/+2/+5/+7/+12 (min roll 10, min persuasion 22 😬 ).
