No politician or political party did this. It only occurred because of grassroots resistance and direct action.

Donald Trump is no friend to Iranians. He is a vicious, hypocritical liar who has his goons shooting protesters in the US this very week. He wants to take advantage of an authentic, courageous liberation movement to rob Iranians the way he aims to rob Venezuelans. The US military cannot do anything to contribute to anyone's freedom, neither in Iran nor anywhere else on earth. If the US intervenes in Iran, it will only be to put another oppressor in power.
Whenever we fight off one oppressor, we must immediately contend with all the other scum who would also like to oppress us. Solidarity with the movement in Iran—against all politicians and governments everywhere.

ICE is on the streets to kidnap and murder people. The Trump regime has put weapons in their hands for precisely this purpose.
DO NOT trust cowardly Democrat politicians to address this. If we "remain calm," the mercenaries will continue kidnapping and murdering with impunity.
We must stand up to them.
With the government shutting down, who will funnel our taxes to military contractors? Who will subsidize the billionaires? Who will tap our phones, raid our communities, deport our neighbors?
Unfortunately, the shutdown won't stop those activities of the state.
The real problem is that the shutdown doesn't go far enough. Make the shutdown comprehensive and permanent!
