I am a psych professor at Rutgers-Camden, touring cyclist, and amateur photographer. I live in South Philadelphia’s Italian Market. My research is at the interface of psychology, economics, anthropology and ecology.
@mlstakes yes. I love it and can not imagine living anywhere else in the US. (Abroad? If someone offered me a job in Barcelona or Paris I’d have a hard time turning it down!)
@jfballenger yes I mean it’s getting better I think. I mean there is a whole path from where I live up to port Richmond! And the pine and spruce street bike lanes changed the game for everyone. I think motorists are on the average okay - we have learned to largely coexist.
Ride home from work at Rutgers (Camden to Philadelphia) featuring PATCO train and Philly skyline…
The Italian Market spice store has closed. They were scraping the letters off the windows today. Many memories of buying so many spices there!
This is my Rutgers website: https://duffy.camden.rutgers.edu for those in academia…(that’s the bridge I bike over every day from Philly, PA to Camden NJ.)
