Heat pumps are a racket out in the US right now, it’s artificial expense to pad out pockets, there is no practical reason.

As someone who is vehemently against conspiracy theories and the people who propagate them, everything mentioned in this video, like how the CIA orchestrated a coup against Chile in the 70’s, overthrowing the government of the Banana Republics at the behest of Dole, MK Ultra… They all verifiably happened. MK Ultra illegal activities, as an example, are known only because many real, government documents were unclassified.

The word ‘deep state’ is a loaded term, one that is generally used by the right (as shown in the video with the Trump quotes) and the unhinged (Alex Jones), and I think Harris would’ve been much better served avoiding the term, but what he’s depicting in this video is all factual, none of it is stretching deeply into the realm of wild speculation.

I requested taking ownership of [email protected] a few months ago. Posting a request in this support forum is hit or miss, but sending an email to [email protected] (as it says in the sidebar) about it got a response from an admin quite quickly, so I’d recommend that route.

I suspect that while most conservatives would prefer someone more ‘close to home’, there’s two things that may appeal:

They may reference him to stave off claims of racism. "See? I woulda voted for him if Trump weren’t running, you can’t call me racist!"

He says the right things, and he’s independently wealthy, which gives him that ‘outsider’ status that they also bestow upon Trump. With those two things, he might be deemed ‘one of the good ones’.

Ultimately, few will opt for him over Trump, and their allegiance to him would likely be far more fickle, as they cannot identify with him as much.
