We're meeting next week! https://www.rug-b.de/events/february-meetup-2026-2333

Still looking for talks for now and the future! :)

RUG::B - February Meetup 2026

RUG::B - February Meetup 2026 - RUG::B—Ruby User Group Berlin

@denis @rug_b

Talk title was just updated in collaboration with the speaker.
@denis @rug_b

I honestly didn't see it when I scheduled the event - I thought it maybe wasn't the most original of titles but without the "great" in there it didn't trigger that association for me.

Clearly it does for others, for which I'm sorry. I'll talk to the speaker about an update.

As I thought we had a good relationship I would have really appreciated a private outreach before putting @rug_b and our speaker on public blast.
@skade @plexus @prinlu to be fair it was Bascht who fixed it and refuses to take my money. And thanks for the mentions, I indeed don't check the fediverse often any more these days. Mostly it seems when Flo Signal DMs me about something.
@bitboxer @ahx @rug_b if there are some there aren't many or at least not to a degree that I'd notice - granted I mostly run around like a headless chicken
Yesterday evening Piotr Szotkowski, also known as Chastell, has passed away. Friend, partner, great engineer, wonderful person.

We'd like to get a wreath at Piotr's funeral "from the Ruby community". If you'd like to pitch in for that then please DM me for details.

There won't be a December meetup, sorry!

Happy holidays and then a "guten Rutsch" to everyone.

We'll probably see you in January!

Yup, that makes perfect sense. #MyElixirStatus

The draft for 10 more gotchas has been lying around for a while, but I think I might be able to get to 20 more 😅

(it ends up in an erlang nif/bif, might open an issue there later)
