Just swapped out the JJ 12AX7 tube in my BK butler Tube Driver with a vintage EI ECC83 tube from Yugoslavia with long smooth Grey plates. Wow! Made on Telefunken machinery prior to the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. It’s obvious why this tube is a favorite of David Gilmour and Eric Johnson in the Tube Driver.

Fun going through my box of old effects. I almost forgot about this twin inductor wah pedal. It has something like 12 different settings. It’s huge though. I like my VOX better. Who remembers this one? I think I got it in the 90’s at some point. #snarlingdogs #superbawlwhineowah #wah

Took a stab at etching my own circuit board and building an MXR Envelope filter. I can’t believe they aren’t making this pedal anymore. It sounds awesome and is such an iconic part of funk history. I did have to change one resistor to make it work properly with the Texas Instrument IC’s. This is a well-documented issue. It is incredible! #diyguitarpedals #mxrenvelopefilter #guitareffects
