The reason I always saw Ivy as a hero was because her actions felt more for the benefit of the people. Batman can beat Joker but Ivy can save us from Global Warming. In the past writers avoided that confrontation by putting Ivy in Arkham or Batman saying she is a villain. But now things have changed.
