Man, it would have costed you nothing to say that, and yet you still did.
Very unfortunate.
You’re right. I think i misinterpreted the goal of this post. And a good goal it is! 😁
Excuse my ignorance. While I love this idea, isn’t it illegal under EU law to discriminate products by origin, or does that only apply to promoting products from one EU country over another?
I think the purpose of this community is to give money to EU companies though. Not necessarily to get away from paying for services entirely like the FOSS community seeks.
I think there’s a space for FOSS software, but that’s not here.
Wasnt aware of this. Thank you!
Feature request: Make Hide NSFW slider permanent

Feature request: Allow 'Hide NSFW' slider to be permanently locked - Lemmy.World
Pretty much the title. Some of us want to reduce the amount of time we spend
browsing NSFW communities, but as it stands it’s too easy to just turn the
slider off. I’m requesting an improvement in the options where you can make the
slider permanently locked upon user request (similar to what Infinity for Reddit
app has done). Thanks.
So, are thinkpads actually good laptops, or are they just cheap and companies buy them in bulk?
To be fair, there’s an argument to be made that “I’ll just pay Google one last time in order to get my privacy back.”
Be nice, this isn’t the app next door.
Why not both, with Brave? I know their are kinda hated for making changes without warning the user, but it seems to be the closest thing to a fairly private and secure browser… Plus they have a whole team behind it, not just some guy in his basement (nothing against guys in their basements btw, it’s just harder to be on top of security issues when you’re one).
