I said nearly that very thing, gender = fiction.
Science might not care how you identify, but documents that are based in fact, should. But, since you can now identify as neither sex on your passport, we are literally putting your feelings ahead of fact. Pretty simple concept.
I’m not sure what hill you’re looking to die on when discussing sex, since everyone is in agreement that you can’t actually change your biological sex. So, I’m not really sure what point you think you’re making.

Trying to make conservative sound like a bad thing, just makes you look silly. Also, I don’t recall saying that I cared what they call themselves. In fact, I have actually stated the opposite, just pointing out the absurdity of fiction overtaking fact.

I don’t really care what you choose to identify as, as long as we are in the realm of fiction.
For example, if you want to identify as a purple unicorn on here, knock yourself out. But, if you choose not to acknowledge your sex by choosing X on your passport, that becomes a problem because that document is based in fact.
I get it though, let’s make everyone else uncomfortable as long as your feelings are being catered to. 🤦🏻♂️
